Jason Brown is the President of Brown Federal Services, LLC, a HUBZone-certified small business supporting the U.S. Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration. He is a seasoned Project Controls Manager with expertise in cost estimating, scheduling, earned value management, and risk analysis, having led multi-million-dollar DOE projects at sites such as Portsmouth and Los Alamos. Under his leadership, BFS has grown rapidly by providing highly qualified personnel who deliver immediate value to complex federal programs. Beyond his federal work, Jason is dedicated to revitalizing Appalachian communities through redevelopment, workforce initiatives, and small business support.

Michele serves as a Special Advisor and has been instrumental in the formation of Brown Federal Services' partnerships designed to expand BFS’s federal contracting capacity, and in supporting BFS’s Mentor-Protégé program with Amentum. Her vision focuses on creating partnerships that build opportunity — from revitalizing southern Ohio communities to fostering local jobs and small business growth.

Michele Brown is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of NexGen Construction Group, a woman-owned small business specializing in government and commercial construction, demolition, and infrastructure projects. She plays a key leadership role in the strategic collaboration between NexGen Construction Group and Brown Federal Services (BFS) — advancing workforce development, compliance, and execution of Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) projects.

Driven by a passion for community development, Michele combines practical leadership with a deep commitment to safety, quality, and economic advancement in underserved regions.

Aimee Nichols is the Vice President of Business Operations at Brown Federal Services, where she oversees HR, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. With a strong focus on compliance, organizational efficiency, and team support, Aimee ensures that employees and clients receive the highest level of service. She is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and building strong relationships that drive both employee success and company growth.

Casey Williams serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Business Development at Brown Federal Services, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission of delivering expert support to some of the nation’s most important government programs. He leads large-scale recruiting efforts and spearheads business development initiatives that position Brown Federal Services as a key player in federal contracting. Drawing on his experience as an Army Veteran, Casey brings a strategic mindset and a commitment to excellence that elevate both the company’s capabilities and its impact on the communities and clients it serves.

Trace Evans serves as a Business Specialist at Brown Federal Services, driving operational excellence and ensuring smooth business processes. He manages invoicing, payroll, and expenses while streamlining onboarding and administrative workflows. With a proactive approach and strong attention to detail, Trace keeps daily operations running efficiently and supports the team in achieving its goals. Backed by a bachelor's in business management, he applies analytical expertise and operational insights to improve processes and support the success of both employees and clients.

Nicole Morris serves as the Accounting Specialist for Brown Federal Services, where she manages the financial operations for Brown Federal Services and multiple affiliated companies. With a strong background in bookkeeping and organizational management, she is dedicated to maintaining accurate records, streamlining processes, and providing reliable financial support that enables the team to focus on client success. Nicole is known for her proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple projects in fast-paced environments.

Cai Marquez is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. He consistently earned Dean’s List honors in five of seven semesters. His professional experience includes a finance internship with Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth, where he worked on invoice reconciliation, financial reporting, and process improvements. He also gained operational and communication experience through roles at the Woody Hayes Athletic Facility and WXIZ Radio. At Brown Federal Services, Cai applies his skills in financial analysis, modeling, and collaborative problem-solving to support Department of Energy projects.
